Maybe it's all in my head, but things have kinda changed

Before i go on to talk about how weird it is that my blog is as dead as it is, I just have to say that I realised somethings have changed - like I don't know.. its in the air or something. But eitherway, something's changed. Hmmm. *looks around the room* Oh well. Change is everywhere right?

So well, an update... hmmm.
My mom's back from her trip to North America - she went to Canada and US, see. And well, like what my mom would normally do, she bought tonnes of stuff for me. Jeans, bags, tops, shoes, you name it. Which kinda makes me a pretty happy person for now, like i've got my own personal shopper. HAHAHA. No but seriously, all these goodies do NOT come without strings attached. I had a LOT of fun when she was away ~ staying out till late, sleepovers here and there.. but now, things are back to the status quo and I don't know if I quite like it. My mom and dad have extremely different parenting values. My dad's ever the democrat, my mum's ever the authoritarian; and no, I'm not being melo-dramatic - after all the drama I've had in my 18 years of life, I ain't kidding. SO yeah, with my mom back, Jannah's back on house arrest. HAHAHA, okay, maybe a teeny bit dramatic.

But I find it aggravating and amusing (99% aggravating, 1% amusing) how my parents (well, when I say parents I really mean mom, cos my mom kinda gets her way a lot) nag at me for slothing around at home during the hols, telling me I ought to "get a hobby" "see the sunshine.." BUT scream and interrogate me when I finally go out with my friends. HAIX, family, can't be with them, can't be without them.

So yeah, its back to those days when my every move is being watched - no, i do not enjoy it nor appreciate it. But heck, not like I've got a waiting list of friends dying to date me. (WHERE ARE YOU PEOPLE?!) hahahahaah. sorry, a bored person stuck at home without any airconditioning, may end up being a little.. wacko.

I've sat for ONE of my many Common Test papers - GP. Lol. It wasn't too bad, I've sat worse. Well, I've got about 3weeks plus to prep for my other Papers. Bah.

I'm kinda looking forward to it. Plus, I really ought to do my research on SATs. so much to do (:

OH and how can I forget - went out with Adel yesterday, and we caught 2 movies, The Young Victoria and Dance! Subaru. PLUS we lazed around town, cos we had NO plan of what to do, but were just out anyways. Both the movies were great, I suspect Chee will LOVE it. HAHAHA, but well, it was a pretty good day, though fruitless!
