MACBETH, SACHI & SACHI

WELL, we had the macbeth play last night. Personally i think it was fab. The fact that there were very little props, makes it very simplistic. And with whatever props there were, they utilised it really well. i don't think that the director wanted the audience to be mesmerised by the background, the props, and so on, but instead, i think he wanted us to merely concentrate on the story, the plot, the drama, the conflict, and pay better attention to it. Its like he wanted to tell it as it is, not over the top, just as a tragedy, no frissiness. It was really good, no regrets, definitely. The only thing is that i wish we watched in like on the weekends, because it is such a waste, a huge waste, to have to battle with your after school lethargy, and the need to watch the play. ugh.
Anyways, it was fun. I mean there were some issues that downright tried to mutilate my night. Like some of the 4C girls. I TOLD THEM, they had to sit according to their allocated seat numbers, no. "Mrs foo say don't need, can just sit where we like"...RIGHT, that's why there were 5 people not from our school that didn't get their seats, cos the 4c girls were sitting at theirs. THEN, syiok, can tell us to change place! UGH. i know i sound like a prissy poo, but whatever, this is my like petpeeve. I am very particular about getting the seats i get. Like when i go with my family to the cinema/theatre, i will trade seats till i get the perfect seat for me, amongst my family members. Like, due to my bad HEIGHT, i have can't have people taller in front, cos its inevitable that they'll block my view, no matter what. so yeah, well i was like grouchy for a moment, then i smsed ADEL. like UGH, i was damn pissed. AND THEN syafiqah smsed me instead, THE SWEETIE PIE! so well, after it started i got over it!

well there were other things, that ticked me off, a lot, but no point ranting about it, other than the fact that i ended up in a totally different seat. FANTABULOUS. not. The only thing that wasn't bad at all, about those seats, were the people sitting in front of me. They were super nice. At first, i kinda apologised to them for all the noise us cedarians were making. BAD theatre etiquette, real bad, ALL very jakon, and gubra. But the father was really nice about it! He was asking us where we're from and everything, then he introduced his family. HIS DAUGHTER was fab, but its still kills me to believe she's only 14. LIKE OMFg! haha, we started talking about school, and she was from the international school uwc, and it was all cool. Then we started talking about AMERICAN IDOL. HAHA, traah, we're both jordin converts. From blake to jordin. heh, then her father was teasing her about calling her friend to ask about it and stuff. All cool. We chit, and we chat, and it was all good. Before the play begun, her father tells me, "Actually, we're here because our son is acting in the play"! Then i asked, isit Rom Yahav aka MALCOLM, then the mother asked how i knew then i told her it was in the programme. I WAS SO FREAKED OUT, OF EXCITEMENT. i was thinking that maybe i could pull some strings to take pics with the ever hot malcolm, and i did!

Anyways, after the play, me and syafiqah rushed to the front, so that we could take pics with the cast. i was so happy i got pics with Banquo and Fleance. OMG, FLEANCE is super adorable! He accidentally stepped on syaf's foot, and he was sooo worried lah! very very cute! I think he turned our whole literature co-hort paedophillic. hah.

SO outside, i met the sister, and i talked to her, again and again. Haha, many similar interests.. Well soon after, rom came out, and she hugged him, and the family was all so sweet. Then the father introduced me to him, and we shook hands. (IF I MAY SAY, HE HAS NICE HANDS, AND A GREAT GRIP) haha. of course i complimented his acting! Then we took pictures!!! yay!!!

it was such a great ending to the night.

ORAL, SACHI AND SACHI

Well i only have a little bit of time, so its FASTGAME. ergo, APOLOGIES for grammatical/spelling errors. Today was ok lah. We had ORAL EXAM.
All in all we have had 2 oral exams. Due to like a certain controversy. SEE, the questions that were set during the first one, apparently, were past year o's questions, and they can be found in an english TYS book. So some girls thought they were at a disadvantage, cos some of the other girls already knew the questions/ were familiar with them. HENCE we had to take it all over again. Exasperation aside, i am quite delighted now that i took it again, i felt its a hell lot better than my other one. COME ON LAH PLEASE, the previous one, mdm nur, who we all know was kind of cornered into doing the oral, showed NO interest whatsoever, and even YAWNED at out faces. PURE JOY, not!

so yeah, even though i was very much afraid to get MRS peh at first, i think that she was DA BOMB. i mean, she was interested, she didn't laugh at our mistakes (unlike some), she ENGAGED in a conversation with me. Not merely going yeah, yeah. She even joked with me. Gosh, i think its just because of the grudge i held against her in sec 2 for the way she marked one of my unseen poems, that i have become very judgemental towards her. I TAKE IT BACK. I felt happy and comfortable.

so the passage, god bless it, was somewhat challenging. There were so many types of words, all with differing pronounciation, and so on. It was ok. I found it difficult to concentrate with DAUGHTER reading loud, and SHARON reading loud, i felt that i had to go a little higher to hear my own voice. HAHA, i think in turn it caused their concentration to falter a little. It was about, children being pressured to live up to their parents dreams, the passage. That was fine. THEN there was the picture. That was aite, not much of a problem. A picture with 4 kids in the foreground, at NATIONAL DAY! ahah... the best was the CONVO lah! She asked " what is the sport you enjoy most doing, or the sport you love watching. DUH, FOOT BALL! I WAS utterlty estatic, i just spilled about EVERYTHING i love about foot ball!!!!!!

hehe.

well it was all great in the end, i was moon dancing outside the hall! WOOTS.

anyways, i can't help thinking about him. LIKE COME ON, move on already. BUT I JUST WANT another peek of him! arhg arhg!!!!

haha..

macbeth play tomorrow! YAY!!!! argh. I have no idea what to wear!!! stress boy!!! argh! hahah i dont care, i just wanna look pretty!

haha..
