i found my camera!

i may just be a little LUCKY around the edges, because i actually found my lost camera. IT WAS IN MY DAD'S TAXI!

Okay, this might be an extremely long post, depends on my fingers.

So this is why 2007 rocks.

NATIONAL TRACK AND FIELD!

Ok, on Wednesday, the eighteenth, there was the annual National track and field competitions. This year, i consider us PSLs lucky, for we were sent to Choa Chu Kang stadium, at 8.30am. So yeah we were there early, and we kinda skipped classes too! hahah, the joy! Anyways, so when we were there, to my utter disgust (OKAY, its not that i hate people from whereever i am about to mention, or whatever, ITS JUST A LITTLE BIT OF SCHOOL RIVALRY FUN, EH!) HCI was already there, "booking" they're place, and putting up they're banners, so cheenah :D hahah. They were sooo gung-ho, "chopping" all the bungalows facing the stadium to put their banners it AGITATES me. But well, in their shoes, i would definitely be just like them. Another thing, Cedar didn't have many many banners etc, ON THE CONTRARY, i think we had about 3 (?) whilst the whole stadium was flooded with the cheenah banners of HCI, and the almost similar banners of VS. (-_-") HAHHA. Oh, i am actually quite proud to be in my proper uniform of blue and grey, because it really made us cedarians STAND out. I mean, we couldn't tell who was from Victoria or HCI, cos they were all clad in red! so yeah, EVEN THOUGH, we sweat and it kinda shown upon our blouses, it was all good fun!

SO anyways, we were all definitely on an ultimate high with school patriotism etc. It was quite euphoric actually.

Sec fours were given priority for tickets, though they still had to queue for them. HAHAHA, uma, the lovely, went running IMMEDIATELY after morning assembly to AS1 to sign up, it was funny actually!
so yeah, there were like 7 of us, ZEDDERS, there. Though small, still significant!

so yeah anyways, ADELAIDA ran a good run, and one of her last! How cool is that, to have represented your school, it must have been a glorious feeling deep down inside! OH, LOVE! Oh, there was one runner from Nanynang that agitated the hell of most of the cedar athletes. DUBBED the pontianak, this girl ran with her long hair, A HELL LONGER THAN MINE, soo effing long its quite distracting! Sadly, she's a great runner. dammit! hahah well yeah, its like her trademark, BUT WELL, each time she wins a race, we all get so pissed and keep on asking for scissors!! "I just wanna chop her hair off!" says one athlete of ours! hahahahaha!

Well down at the field during finale, and results announcements, me and xiping were bein the USUAL KAYPOHS, wanting to go down to the field. After all, it was our last year! hahah, down there we held on to the banner, "ONE TEAM, ONE DREAM"! (Another sad thought, STNicks had a motto "ONE TEAM, ONE ST NICKS" on they're shirts! ARH. how original?! the blame is either on us, or on THEM!)

well in good fun, we kept on, GRACIOUSLY VICIOUS as we are, trying to block the HCI banner behind us. OBVIOUSLY it didn't work, but we couldn't help it! ESPECIALLY since they kept on mocking us by imitating our screams, etc! UGH! haha.

oh and VS, was doing the USUAL singing of the anthem with all their house flags put together!

whoots. IT obviously felt as good as just being champs! Like come on, we all know that it is most likely for SSP to be champs, like thanks to their abilities, and of course their numerous amounts of training. IF they don't win, then we shall all look at them funny! :) so yeah, beating the usual rivals felt great! IN YOUR FACE. hahaha well we shall be gracious "winners"!

so anyways, after school, me and syaf went to ppmacs, and we saw the cutest little boy, that we are sure 9 years or so from now will be a definite HOTTIE!


YES YES, we do kinda feel like paedophiles, but whatever, he's so cute, though he can't count a dollar! hahahah

RACIAL HARMONY DAY!

Okay, on this day, there was like a hell lot of rubbish from administration. I MEAN, WTF! they only allowed CHINESE, MALAY, OR INDIAN, and those not in these garb had to CHANGE OUT. its like ultimate rubbish-mosity! I mean, they wanted to emphasize yet again the significance of racial riots in the past, regarding MARIA HERTOGH. OH, well the thing is, i don't see the logic! I mean, the minority races are as important as any other race, are they not? Are they trying to say that only the malays, indians and chinese can be involved in racial riots?? Oh, and another thing, the MARIA HERTOGH, though raised by a malay lady, was NEITHER malay, chinese nor indian. INFACT, she was european, A MINORITY GROUP in singapore. So at that time, the malays were acting toward the british, A MINORITY group, and the chinese people just got in the way, did they not? So doesn't that kinda mean that the minority race is important, considering maria hertogh riot were MAINLY due to an outrage between the malays and the BRITS, a minority group!??! So hell yeah, tho there were also other riots, etc, if they are that GUNGHO over the M.H riots, then logically, we should respect the minority groups too! BLOODY hell, i was pissed, EVEN though i was clad in my greatgrandmother's Nonya kebaya, and had nothing to do with it. STILL, what message is the school trying to send? "Oh girls, don't forget to live in racial and religious harmony!...OH WAIT, before we forget, please, only practice with the chinese, malays and indians!" WTF lah. I mean, its such a controversial thing. So what is the RATIONALE BEHIND IT!?! they didn't even clarify with us, or let us ponder/ask questions, like come on, is this a dictatorship!?! There were some people being such bitchy hypocrites, it makes me sick! THE saddest thing was that some girls were scolded for wearing they're own race's ethnic costume! Like cheryl, who's Burmese and wore a beautiful, elegant burmese costume, got scolded! WTF. and the ugh person who scolded her, and i qoute, said something along the lines of "You girls wearing the other international costumes just want to show off and stand out". OH I could just scream!

but well, that aside, RHD, was well quite nice. With photo taking, etc it was all good!!! Except for the fact that i spent a lot of my time braiding (etc) people's hair. I mean with the amount of people coming to me, EVERYBODY says i should've charged, open a store, etc! hahaha

And of coursed being the people we are we took pics, and talked and talked and ate and ate, and bitched about the isa-lookalike cashier/waiter who was quite an ass. BUT a bit of a cute ass. ahahha. It was so much fun!

harry potter movie 5, was a little disappointing. I mean, we were supposed to see bill, them getting the prefect badge, etc etc, and well its all SAD, there were so many details that i was important, well to most potter fans, that they didn't include. WHY OH WHY?!! but on another note, the parts that were included in the movie that were okay! so yeah, not the best, but not horrid either.

i just re read teh fifth and sixth book again, and now am gonna read the seventh. I HAVE NO IDEA whats gonna happen, but i'll tell you one thing... its gonna be good...
